This house was <br />originally constructed in 1929, and was valued at approximately $5,000 according to the original building permit. Constructed <br />by Floral Park builders and developers the Honer Bros., the house remained under its original ownership for nearly three <br />decades. The first recorded owners and occupants were William McKinley (W.M.) Cory (1897-1968) and Doris R. Cory (1899- <br />1979). W.M. Cory was an Assistant County Farm Advisor. Since then, the W.M.
