BASIS OF CHARGES <br />1. A two-hour show up minimum charge will be made for all field services where work is cancelled <br />less than two hours prior to the requested start time. A four-hour minimum charge will be made for <br />any field services in excess of two hours. An eight -hour minimum charge will be made for field <br />services in excess of four hours per day. <br />2. Time worked in excess of 8 hours per day (Monday - Friday) and up to 12 hours per day on <br />Saturday will be charged at 1.5 times the hourly rate. Time worked in excess of 12 hours per day <br />(Monday — Saturday) and all time worked on Sundays and holidays will be charged at 2 times the <br />hourly rate. <br />3. Per diem will be charged at cost for all projects in excess of 50 miles from the nearest Kleinfelder <br />office. <br />4. Office support staff, field inspection non -prevailing wage staff, and laboratory testing rates will be <br />escalated 3% annually on October 1 st for the duration of the contract. <br />5. Field inspection staff subject to prevailing wages per the DIR will be escalated 3% annually on July <br />1 st for the duration of the contract. <br />6. Vehicle mileage will be charged at the current IRS reimbursement rate portal-to-portal from the <br />nearest Kleinfelder office. <br />7. The proposed fee includes standard invoicing with time detail summary. Additional administrative <br />time will be charged if invoice backup information (timesheets, daily field reports, or work <br />summaries) is requested. <br />8. Certified payroll for prevailing wage projects will be provided only if requested and will be subject <br />to additional charges for administrative time for each pay period. <br />Kleinfelder Basis of Charges for the City of Santa Ana Revised 05/2021 <br />
