EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES and COSTS <br />Approximate number of monthly hours per task: <br />Task 1— Up to 140 hours <br />Provide consulting services for capital improvement projects. This includes, but not limited to, grant <br />preparation and submittal, run general ledger (GL) report in Lawson to capture all expenses related to <br />the project and phase, and analyze GL report to determine what expense should be billed. <br />Task 2 — Up to 2 hours <br />Respond to questions/inquiries from funding agencies. Submit compliance documentation, forms, <br />reports, and invoices to meet granting agency guidelines and requirements for funding reimbursement <br />and project closeout. Revise grant submittals as requested. <br />Task 3 — Up to 8 hours <br />Provide assistance and oversight during agency audits. Answer audit questions and explain grant <br />preparation process. Compile and provide requested information. <br />Task 4 — Up to 5 hours <br />Train City staff in the preparation of the grant submittals. Oversee and check submittals prepared by <br />staff for accuracy. Maintain project files. <br />Task 5 — Up to 5 hours <br />Meet with City staff on occasion and participate in the meetings with funding agency. <br />Hourly rate - $50/hr. <br />Annual cost of $100,000 for the City of Santa Ana for Grant Assistance Services at 40 hours per week. <br />
