Shawyer <br />Federal Real Property Assistance Program <br />U.S. Department of Education <br />400 Maryland Avenue, SW, 2C123 <br />Washington DC, 20202-4553 <br /> <br />Dear Mrs. Shawyer, <br />Enclosed is the City of Santa Ana Police Department’s Annual Report for the year of <br />March 6th 2020 through March 5th 2021, regarding property utilization of the parcel that <br />was deeded to the City of Santa Ana on March 7th, 1991. <br />The property was formerly identified as: “FCC Monitoring Station.” <br />In the 2020/2021 reporting period, the Department has continued to operate the location <br />as a Regional Law and Fire Training Facility. Didactic training sessions take place in one <br />of two classrooms, and manipulative law-fire ground evolutions take place outdoors on <br />the tarmac and dirt areas. This facility continues to allow both public safety entities to offer <br />educational opportunities to not only our agencies but to regional partners. Over the <br />course of the above listed time frame, training that has occurred at the location consisted <br />of the below: <br /> <br />• COSA - Class B Driver Training <br />• COSA - Santa Ana Backhoe Operator Training <br />• OCFA - Mass Casualty Triage Training <br />• OCFA - Multi-Company Commercial Fire Training <br />• OCFA - Residential Night-Time Structure Fire Training
