residents, the priority needs listed above will be addressed through the implementation of HUD funded <br />activities aligned with the following seven measurable Strategic Plan goals: <br /> Affordable Housing Development, Maintenance, and Preservation <br /> Code Enforcement <br /> Public Service Programs <br /> Homeless Services and Facilities <br /> Economic Development Program <br /> Public Facilities and Infrastructure <br /> Program Administration and Fair Housing Services <br />Evaluation of past performance <br />During the 2020 program year, the City of Santa Ana prioritized program activities to address the <br />impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic within the City of Santa Ana. Activities included rental assistance, <br />small and microbusiness support, homeless prevention, and targeted public service activities. <br />Additionally, during the 2020 program year, the City funded the following activities: <br />1. Renovation of the Santa Ana Main Library to improve weatherproofing and install new windows <br />throughout the facility <br />2. Construct a new park at the corner of Raitt and Myrtle Streets <br />3. Graffiti and Vandalism abatement <br />4. Public service activities to support youth, seniors, disabled individuals, and low- and moderate- <br />income residents within the City <br />5. Code enforcement in targeted neighborhoods <br />6. Homeless services and prevention activities <br />7. Housing rehabilitation activities to low- and moderate-income households <br />8.
