Description Project involves replacement of existing damaged concrete sidewalks <br />in residential neighborhoods and will include the removal and <br />replacement of adjacent damaged concrete curbs, gutter and <br />driveways. Project will focus on areas with the highest concentration <br />of needed repairs, to help mitigate trip and fall hazards and reducing <br />potential of liability claims and assist in complying with regulations set <br />forth by the American with Disabilities Act. <br />After the sidewalk concrete repairs within the public right of way are <br />completed, the public will have enhanced pedestrian and multi-modal <br />mobility through the improved neighborhoods. For at least 50% of <br />Santa Ana's low-income population, bicycle is the primary mode <br />of transportation.
