Parks, Recreation, and Community Services <br />https://www.santa-ana.org/parks <br />Item # 19 <br />City of Santa Ana <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br /> Staff Report <br />April 20, 2021 <br />TOPIC: Security Cameras at the Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park <br />AGENDA TITLE: <br />Approve an Agreement with Edgeworth Integration, LLC for the Purchase and Installation <br />of Security Cameras at the Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park in the Amount of $82,359.67, <br />and for Annual Monitoring and Maintenance in an Annual Amount of $51,000, with a <br />Three-Year Not-to-Exceed Amount of $153,000, for a Total Not-to-Exceed Amount of <br />235,359.67 (General Fund) <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with Edgeworth Integration, LLC for <br />the Purchase and Installation of Security Cameras at the Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park <br />in the Amount of $82,359.67, and for Annual Monitoring and Maintenance in an Annual <br />Amount of $51,000, with a Three-Year Not-to-Exceed Amount of $153,000, for a Total <br />Not-to-Exceed Amount of 235,359.67, subject to non-substantive changes approved by <br />the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On December 7, 2020, the City of Santa Ana released a Request for Proposals (RFP) <br />seeking qualified firms in designing, providing, installing, maintaining, and monitoring <br />security camera systems. The City notified 235 companies (seven Santa Ana <br />companies), and eight companies submitted proposals (zero Santa Ana companies). <br /> <br />An evaluation committee reviewed and rated the proposals according to the criteria listed <br />in the RFP, which includes Statement of Qualifications & References, Manner for <br />Performing Services & Schedule, and fee. After the initial review, the companies with the <br />top three scores were asked to participate in an interview session. When the proposal <br />score and interview score were combined a ranking of the top three companies is as <br />follows: <br />Companies Location Ranking <br />Edgeworth Integration, LLC.Simi Valley 1 <br />Baker Electric, Inc.Escondido 2 <br />Ollivier Corporation Los Angeles 3
