Successor Agency <br />https://www.santa-ana.org/cd <br />Item # 3 <br />City of Santa Ana <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br /> Staff Report <br />March 2, 2021 <br />TOPIC: Quarterly Report of Contracts <br />AGENDA TITLE: <br />Receive and File the Quarterly Report of Contracts entered into by the City Manager <br />(September 1, 2020 – December 31, 2020) <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Receive and file. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On November 19, 2012, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana acting as Successor <br />Agency to the former Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana <br />(Successor Agency) established the City Manager’s authority to execute agreements in <br />an amount not to exceed $25,000. This authority required the submission of a quarterly <br />report to the Successor Agency at a public meeting on all such agreements, including the <br />names of contractors and the amounts of each contract. <br />On February 4, 2020, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana acting as Successor <br />Agency adopted Resolution 2020-002 to increase the City Manager’s contract authority <br />to $50,000 to be consistent with the 2019 approved limits of the City Manager for non- <br />public works contracts. The requirement to provide a quarterly report remained the <br />same.
