Replacement of Body Armor Protective Vests for the Police Department <br />February 16, 2021 <br />Page 2 <br />4 <br />5 <br />3 <br />Santa Ana Ordinance No. NS-2312 authorizes the City to utilize purchase contracts from <br />any public agency employing a competitive bid process. State of Colorado has awarded <br />an agreement for body armor products and made it available to NASPO ValuePoint’s <br />participating agencies. Utilizing the contract awarded to The Point Black Enterprises and <br />Galls, LLC as an authorized distributor will ensure efficient procurement of protective <br />vests. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The intended spending plan is as follows, subject to change: <br />Funds for this purchase are available in the following Police Department accounts: <br /> <br />Fiscal Year Accounting Unit-Account #Accounting Unit, Account <br />Description <br />Amount <br />FY 2020-21 12814409 63001 Byrne Justice Assist.
