<br />Emergency Rental Assistance <br />Program Spending Plan (ERAP) <br />•With approval of the ERAP Spending Plan, staff will increase the <br />amount per household from $3,000 per household to $5,500 per <br />household: <br />o Based on analysis of average cost of rent in Santa Ana. <br />o 1,616 households could be served with the $9.8 million, <br />including all of the families currently waiting for assistance. <br />o Urban Institute study found average delinquent rent is $5,600. <br />o May serve more families per dollar than the County ’s $10,000 <br />per household assistance cap. <br />•Families that have already received $3,000 per household will be <br />able to recertify for an additional $2,500 in assistance. <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY 1220 CIVIC CENTER PLAZA, SANTA ANA, CA 92702
