Below are brief summaries for two (2) recently <br />completed projects and the seven (7) projects under construction / pre-development. <br />Exhibit 3 provides a development timeline for the larger development projects. <br />Projects Completed <br />Casa Querencia - formerly Aqua Housing (317 E. 17th Street) <br />Developer Community Development Partners with Mercy House as the service <br />provider <br />Description <br />Acquisition, demolition and new construction of a former motel yielding <br />56 units of affordable permanent supportive housing with wrap-around <br />supportive services for chronically homeless individuals and one (1) <br />manager’s unit. 28 of the 56 units will be funded by MHSA/SNHP funds <br />from the County of Orange. <br />City Funds Fifty-six (56) Project-Based Vouchers (PBVs) <br />Update <br />Construction is 100% complete and achieved final building sign-off on <br />December 31, 2020. The first residents will begin moving into the <br />property on January 12, 2021. The project was rebranded from Aqua <br />Housing to Casa Querencia.
