<br />Professional Summary
<br />Mr. Butier serves as President and Chief Financial Officer for Butier Engineering.
<br />His primary duties include functioning as the primary point of contact between
<br />Butier and its clients; contract management; sub -consultant contract
<br />management; maintenance of Butier's project information system; development
<br />of the firm's field procedural manuals; and staff resource management. Mr.
<br />Butier works closely with the field construction management staff to ensure all
<br />contract scope requirements are being fully implemented. Mr. Butier also serves
<br />as the firm's contact between the field construction management staff/client and
<br />the project public outreach effort, when necessary. He has been responsible for
<br />generating, distributing, and presenting to numerous public boards and
<br />community associations dealing with the impact of construction activity on the
<br />local community.
<br />Project Experience
<br />Project Director, Mid -Basin Injection: Centennial Park Project; Santa
<br />Ana, CA; Orange County Water District (Completion: 2020; Value: $29.5
<br />million) —The Mid -Basin Injection project consisted of the construction of the
<br />following: four groundwater injection wells in below grade vaults; a monitoring
<br />well at the Heritage Museum site; a purified recycled water injection supply
<br />pipeline 5,000 feet long that connects to the District's existing Groundwater
<br />Replenishment System (GWRS) pipeline and crosses the Santa Ana River; a
<br />4,000 ft backflush discharge pipeline that discharges to the Greenville -
<br />Banning Channel and Centennial Park Lake; installation of submersible
<br />pumps within the four injection wells; replacement of 9.6 acres of paving
<br />within the Park; demolishing an existing City of Santa Ana restroom facility;
<br />and constructing two new buildings with shared City and District uses. Butier
<br />coordinated closely with the City of Santa Ana, Santa Ana Unified
<br />School District, Heritage Museum, and state and federal agencies.
<br />Project Manager, Peters Canyon Channel Improvements (CIP No.
<br />50040), City of Tustin, Department of Public Works; Tustin and Irvine,
<br />CA (Completion: March 2020; Value: $13,031,662)—Butier provided
<br />construction management and inspection services for the Peters Canyon
<br />Channel Improvements Project. The channel work included demolition,
<br />widening, and relining approximately 5,000 feet of the existing channel within
<br />the Cities of Tustin and Irvine from north of Edinger Avenue to Warner
<br />Avenue. The channel scope of work also included construction of new storm
<br />drain lines, extension of existing storm drain lines, and road undercrossings.
<br />Butier staff coordinated with the City of Irvine, Irvine Ranch Water District,
<br />Orange County Flood Control District, Southern California Gas Co., and
<br />Southern California Edison.
<br />Project Manager, Moffett Drive Bridge Construction and Street
<br />Improvements Project; City of Tustin, Public Works (Completion: 2019;
<br />Value: $5.75 million)—Butier provided construction management and field
<br />inspection services for the Moffett Drive Bridge Construction and Street
<br />Improvements Project. The bridge, which spans across Peters Canyon
<br />Channel, connects Moffett Drive from Irvine to Tustin, increasing access and
