He is ICBO- <br />certified in several areas, including structural steel and welding, spray -applied <br />fireproofing, and concrete. Experience includes both new and retrofit <br />construction. <br />Mr. Brunenieks' inspection experience includes the following: Construction <br />phases, including new and retrofit construction on multiple -story structural <br />steel buildings; earthquake retrofits; DSA related projects; OSHPD related <br />projects; multiple -story tilt -top office buildings; refinery construction phases; <br />shut down retrofits; tracking and monitoring wear; and verified hydrotesting of <br />pipelines, pressure vessels, exchangers, and tanks. <br />Project Experience <br />Field Inspector, Coastal Treatment Plant Facility Improvements; Laguna <br />Niguel, CA; South Orange County Wastewater Authority (Completion: <br />06/01/21; Value: $9,209,000)—Mr. Brunenieks is providing field inspection services <br />for the Coastal Treatment Plant Facility Improvements. The scope of work includes <br />the following: reconstruction of the ferric chloride system and secondary <br />sedimentation basin equipment; construction of a replacement drainage <br />pump station; fall protection safety improvements; miscellaneous structural <br />and architectural improvements; replacement of the Motor Control Center <br />(MCC) E8M in the Operations Building and installation of new MCC-15M and <br />MCC-E15M in the DAF Utility Building; DAF electrical room improvements; <br />replacement of switchgear including installation of new switchgear and <br />repurposing the existing chlorine building; standby general improvements; <br />electrical distribution system upgrade; installation of temporary power during <br />construction; and replacement of three grit knife gate valves and access <br />platforms for the upper valves. <br />Field Inspector, Mid -Basin Injection: Centennial Park Project; Santa <br />Ana, CA; Orange County Water District (Completion: 0312020; Value: <br />$29.5 million) —The Mid -Basin Injection project consisted of the construction <br />of the following: four groundwater injection wells in below grade vaults; two <br />(2) monitoring wells; a purified recycled water injection supply pipeline <br />approximately 5,700 feet long that connects to the District's existing <br />Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS) pipeline and crosses the Santa <br />Ana River; a backflush discharge pipeline approximately 4,200 feet long that <br />discharges to the Greenville -Banning Channel and Centennial Park Lake; <br />installation of submersible pumps within the four injection wells; replacement <br />of approximately 9.6 acres of paving within the Park; demolishing an existing <br />City of Santa Ana restroom facility; and constructing two new buildings with <br />shared City and District uses. Butier coordinated with the City of Santa Ana, <br />Santa Ana Unified School District, Heritage Museum, and government <br />agencies. <br />
