Resolution Accepting Tactical Medical Equipment for Mass Casualty Incidents <br />January 19, 2021 <br />Page 2 <br />2 <br />8 <br />6 <br />officers through UASI for TECC training. Therefore, there is a continuity of equipment <br />from what the Santa Ana Police Department currently uses and the proposed equipment <br />being donated. <br />The proposed equipment being donated includes 300 Patrol Trauma Response Kits (belt- <br />worn), 12 Original Active Response Kits (mass casualty backpacks), and 12 Foxtrot DA <br />Litters (casualty evacuation carriers). The total value of the donated equipment is <br />$39,957. This equipment enhances the Police Department’s response capabilities by <br />providing a more portable individual field kit, a mass casualty blowout bag, and an <br />improved ability to evacuate casualties. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />None <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT(S) <br />1.
