SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />1) Industrial and Commercial Facility Inspections <br />Consultant shall perform the following tasks: <br />i) Deploy all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials to conduct Industrial and <br />Commercial Facility Inspections to verify Best Management Practice (BMP) <br />implementation and prohibit discharges of pollutants to the City's MS4 <br />(a) Inspections shall comply with the requirements of the City's Municipal <br />NPDES Permit <br />(b) Consultant shall ensure all staff receive proper training and have adequate <br />Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to successfully and safely conduct <br />Industrial and Commercial Facility inspections <br />(c) Consultant shall send out courtesy notifications to Facility operators of <br />upcoming inspections <br />(d) Consultant shall send out copies of completed inspection reports to Facility <br />operators outlining any deficiencies or required corrections and include <br />applicable BMP fact sheets with recommendations <br />(e) Consultant shall provide educational materials to Facility operators regarding <br />the Statewide Industrial General Permit or other applicable NPDES <br />regulations and City requirements <br />(f) Consultant shall issue enforcement actions for violations of Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code. Enforcement actions may include, but are not limited to: <br />verbal warnings and Administrative Citations with monetary fines <br />(g) Consultant shall be solely responsible for tracking and completing all required <br />Industrial and Commercial Facility Inspections each fiscal year per the <br />requirements of the City's Municipal NPDES Permit <br />ii) Any other work required to safely and effectively conduct Industrial and Commercial <br />Facility inspections <br />Based upon the City's Prioritized Industrial and Commercial Facility Inventory, the <br />following facilities will need to be inspected during the next three fiscal years.
