The objective of the master's degree programs is to provide advanced training to those who wish <br />to practice their profession with increased competence in the global business industries. The <br />program emphasizes both mastery of the subject matter and an understanding of related research <br />and research methodology. This emphasis implies the development of the student's ability to <br />integrate and apply the subject matter. <br />Program Length: 24 months <br />Semester Credit Hours (Credits): 30 <br />Program Objectives: <br />✓ Students will demonstrate an understanding of business knowledge (principles, concepts, <br />theories, perspectives) and skills (procedures, methods, strategies, approaches) for each <br />business function/discipline, and of the interrelationships among business <br />functions/disciplines. <br />✓ Students will demonstrate the capacity to identify problems, define objectives, gather and <br />analyze information, evaluate risks and alternatives, make decisions that are ethical and <br />responsible, and communicate clearly defensible ideas and plans. The decisions need to <br />be based on the available data and data analysis, especially, based on the latest business <br />analytics skills. <br />✓ Students will demonstrate the capacity to acquire information, and technologies of the <br />high-tech industries, especially Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, so that they can <br />make good planning based on the trend in technologies and leveraging on the data <br />science to make better decisions. <br />✓ Students will demonstrate the capacity to work effectively and communicate with others <br />as a colleague and as a manager. <br />✓ Students will demonstrate the capacity for continual self -managed learning for <br />professional and career development. <br />A minimum of 30 semester credit hours of graduate study are required for the MBA program. <br />The MBA curriculum includes coursework in the following categories: Core Requirements, <br />Electives, and a Capstone Course. <br />Upon clearing background preparation work, students start to take courses to meet the degree <br />requirements, beginning with the Core Requirements courses. <br />Upon completion of the study, graduates may obtain jobs in marketing analysis, data processing, <br />financial analysis, etc. The following is a list of job classifications the MBA program prepares <br />graduates for using the United States Department of Labor's Standard. <br />• 1.5-1199.08 - Business Intelligence Analysts <br />Page 36 of 65 <br />
