EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall perform a variety of administrative, constituent and legislative functions and tasks, <br />including but not limited to, the following: <br />Policy and Research <br />• Conduct research, which includes data collection and analysis, and prepare comprehensive <br />written reports relating to municipal programs relevant to the City and assigned research <br />proj ects. <br />• Provide advice and recommendations to the Councilmember on policy issues. <br />• Draft written communications involving policies and/or procedures relevant to the City. <br />• Coordinate special projects assigned by the Councilmember. <br />Constituent Services <br />• Act as the representative for the Councilmember, which may include researching and responding <br />to complex correspondence, meeting with constituents, and engaging in communications with <br />constituents. <br />Community Engagement <br />* Assist the Councilmember with developing and implementing community engagement strategies <br />that align with the Councilmember's priorities. <br />
