30. Adopt a Resolution Approving a Reduced Home Occupation Permit Fee for Home -Based <br />Businesses/Home Occupations Operating from Residential Premises within the City <br />Department(s): Finance and Management Services <br />Recommended Action: Resolution No. 2022-104 —Adopt a resolution approving a reduced <br />Home Occupation Permit Fee for businesses operating from residential premises within the <br />city, lowering the permit fee from $320.00 per permit to $50.32 per permit. <br />MINUTES: Councilmember Bacerra thanked staff for all of their hard work on Item 30 and <br />emphasized that the lower permit fee would help residents. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Lopez thanked staff for their hard work on Item 30. <br />Councilmember Vazquez stated that he hoped to see yard sales on a monthly basis in the <br />City, as many families rely on them. <br />Moved by Councilmember Bacerra, seconded by Councilmember Penaloza to <br />Approve Item No. 30. <br />YES: 7 — Councilmember Bacerra, — Councilmember Hernandez, — Councilmember <br />Penaloza, — Councilmember Phan, — Councilmember Vazquez, — Mayor Pro Tern Lopez, — <br />Mayor Amezcua <br />NO: 0 <br />ABSTAIN: 0 <br />ABSENT:0 <br />Status: 7-0-0 —0 —Pass <br />31.
