Cabrillo Town Center <br />Planning and Building Agency <br />Item # 18 <br />October 3, 2023 <br />Slide 10 <br />Project Analysis <br />•The project is designed as an integrated development with two parcels that provide <br />diverse housing options for people looking to buy or rent. <br />•The project will contribute to the production of affordable housing in Santa Ana through <br />in-lieu housing funds (approximately $8 million). <br />•The commercial areas have been designed to accommodate a range of uses common <br />within mixed-use structures, such as cafes, small retail, and neighborhood service uses. <br />•The town center plaza has been designed to provide a passive recreation area to be <br />enjoyed by the residents, commercial patrons, and visitors of the development. <br />•The project features durable and high-quality architectural materials and provides a <br />range of amenities and open space. <br />•The project will provide 47,810 square feet of publicly accessible open space, in the <br />form of the Town Center Plaza, Shopkeeper’s Plaza, and along Cabrillo Park Drive, <br />Parkcourt Place, and the new proposed Paseo along the eastern property line.
