The Project includes bicycle and <br />pedestrian pathways, drought tolerant landscaping, lighting, waste <br />receptacles, seating, interpretive signage, art installations, and a <br />Istormwater infiltration system that will capture and infiltrate stormwater <br />runoff from the surrounding neighborhood. <br />PROJECT NEED: <br />The abandoned street area at the intersection of King Street and 10th Street <br />is unused and is subject to illegal dumping. The Project will beautify this <br />public space and provide benefits to the surrounding community. The Project <br />will also help improve water quality, enhance local water supply, and reduce <br />flooding via the infiltration of stormwater runoff.
