Ordinance No. NS-XXX <br />Page 2 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />would otherwise be subject to the prima facie speed limits established in the California <br />Vehicle Code. <br /> <br /> These prima facie speed limits shall be effective when appropriate signs giving <br />notice thereof are erected upon the streets and portions of streets to which they pertain. <br /> <br /> The provisions of this article shall not apply to any twenty-five (25) mile per hour <br />prima facie speed limit which is applicable when passing a school or the grounds <br />thereof. <br /> <br />Sec. 36-228. Alton Avenue. <br /> <br /> The speed limits (in miles per hour) for the following portions of Alton Avenue are <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Between Susan Street and Greenville Street 45 <br />Between Greenville Street and Bristol Street 45 <br />Between Main Street and Standard Avenue 40 <br /> <br />Sec. 36-229. Bear Street. <br /> <br /> The speed limits (in miles per hour) for the following portions of Bear Street are <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Between Sunflower Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard 40 <br />Between MacArthur Boulevard and Alton Avenue 40 <br />Between Alton Avenue and Segerstrom Avenue 40 <br /> <br />Sec. 36-230.
