All I know is that even Palestinian lives are precious. I don't want our nation to be complicit <br />in an unjust occupation, or worse, a genocide of the Palestinian people, which the entire world is witnessing. What are <br />we teaching our children if we do not affirm the humanity of fellow Palestinians? We must raise our voices for a <br />ceasefire now! We also must address the problematic financial relationship of our nation with Israel. I certainly don't <br />work hard and pay my taxes for them to be misused and fund the systematic killing off of innocent Palestinian children, <br />mothers, and fathers! Financing the terrorist regime of Israel is the most unAmerican thing we could do. The right to life, <br />liberty and the pursuit of happiness are American values with which we should be leading the world. We must stop <br />funding Israel immediately! There is no reason to give away 3.8 billion USD annually nor grant another 14 billion to <br />Israel in the midst of the bombardment! If we as Americans would never stand for it then why should we fund a system <br />of apartheid and occupation alongside all the horrors and war crimes being committed against Palestinians, a civilian <br />population? That money being denied the American people should rightfully go back into strengthening our society. Of <br />course, we the American people reject the forced displacement of civilians, the killing of children, the bombings of <br />schools, refugee camps, and hospitals, the denial of basic needs of water, food and fuel, the use of white phosphorous, <br />and evil schemes to bomb fleeing refugees.
