GEEC <br />ENVIRONMENTAL <br />City of Santa Ana: WDR Compliance, FOG Program Management Services <br />Contact: Mr. Rudy Rosas, Principal Civil Engineer (714) 647-3379 <br />EEC has provided a wide variety of WDR and environmental compliance services to the City, <br />including the 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019 internal SSMP audits, the <br />2020 SSMP update, program development and implementation of <br />the Drinking Water Systems Discharge Permit, as well as cross - <br />connection program and smart water meter infrastructure program <br />support. EEC developed, implemented, and helped the City <br />manage its FOG control program, and has been inspecting FSEs <br />in Santa Ana for the past 14 years. EEC compiled and maintains <br />an exhaustive list of FSEs within the City's boundaries and <br />inspected each FSE for inventory cooking equipment, <br />fixtures, floor sinks and drains, and GREs, and to evaluate <br />FSEs' compliance with FOG program regulations. EEC has Inspector Using Mobile Device to <br />maintained FSE and kitchen equipment inventory in the Gather FSE Data <br />City's infraMAP database and created inspection <br />frequencies based, in part, on an FSE's potential to release FOG into the sewer system. EEC <br />used the City's GIS to determine an FSE's potential to impact sewer line elevated maintenance <br />locations (EMLs). This project will conclude September 2020. <br />Project highlights include the following: <br />Internal SSMP audit <br />Operation & maintenance manual <br />development and regular updates <br />• SSMP update <br />• SSO response manual development <br />• SSO emergency response training <br />• FOG program development and <br />management support <br />Permitting inspections <br />FSE kitchen BMP inspections <br />GRE inspections <br />• FSE non-compliance notifications <br />• Compliance inspection and follow-up <br />efforts <br />• SSO response and support <br />Mobile FOG inspection deployment <br />Operations and maintenance program <br />standard operating procedures <br />Misc. NPDES permitting support <br />Cross -connection guidance <br />documentation development <br />AMI and supplemental staff support <br />Costa Mesa Sanitary District: WDR Compliance, FOG Program Management Services <br />Contact: Mr. Scott Carrol, General Manager, (949) 645-8400 <br />EEC currently provides many of the same services the City is requesting—WDR and SSMP <br />support, FOG program management and inspections, GIS support, CMMS support, and <br />modeling services —to the CMSD.
