Firm and Team Experience <br />Earth Mechanics, Inc. (EMI) has ample resources and expertise to produce deliverables for <br />multiple task orders to support the City of Santa Ana's On -Call Geotechnical Engineering <br />Services contract. EMI has prior public project experience, knowledge of geologic and <br />subsurface conditions in Santa Ana, and experience in delivering on -call task orders. <br />Earth Mechanics, Inc. (DBE/SBE) <br />EMI, a California company, has provided exceptional <br />geotechnical and earthquake engineering and <br />geology consulting services to numerous California <br />public agencies since its founding in 1989 and is <br />firmly committed to maintaining that tradition. EMI <br />specializes in conducting geotechnical and geologic <br />site investigations and laboratory testing, performing <br />seismic hazard and earthquake retrofit evaluations, <br />performing pavement condition evaluations and <br />pavement design, conducting percolation testing for <br />low impact developments (LID), and developing <br />grading and foundation design for infrastructure <br />projects including roadways, bridges, active <br />transportation, and drainage facilities. <br />EMI is experienced in evaluating and remediating <br />slopes and landslides, evaluating the seismic stability <br />of slopes, evaluating seismic performance of <br />foundations, and ground improvement <br />methodologies. <br />EMI has provided geotechnical services to the City of <br />Santa Ana for over 20 years on projects including the <br />Bristol Street Bridge over Santiago Creek, the <br />Memory Lane Street and Bridge Widening, the First <br />Street Bridge Replacement over the Santa Ana <br />River, and the Fairview Street Bridge Replacement <br />over the Santa Ana River.
