Therefore, the proposed O zoning <br /> designation is the appropriate zoning designation for the park. <br /> Existing Zoning District Designation Proposed Zoning District Designation <br /> v <br /> i <br /> Public Notification and Community Outreach <br /> Project notifications were posted, published, and mailed in accordance with City and State <br /> regulations. Copies of the public notice, including a 1 ,000-foot notification radius map, <br /> and the site posting are provided attached hereto as Exhibit 8. The park site is located <br /> within the boundaries of the Cornerstone Neighborhood Association and boarders the <br /> neighborhood associations of Madison Park and Pacific Park. To ensure thorough <br /> community outreach, notices were sent to these neighborhood associations and their <br /> representatives were contacted to identify any areas of concerns. At the time this report <br /> was printed, no issues of concern were raised regarding the requested actions. Lastly, <br /> the PRCSA and PWA staff conducted numerous community meetings during the design <br /> phase of the park and community feedback was incorporated into the design of the park. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and Section 15162 <br /> of the CEQA Guidelines, the project this is within the scope of the 2022 Santa Ana <br /> General Plan Environmental Impact Report (EIR) (SCH No. 2020029087). An <br /> environmental analysis has been conducted for this project which revealed that the <br /> previously prepared EIR adequately described the project's environmental setting, <br /> impacts, and mitigation measures related to each impact. There are no substantial <br /> changes proposed by these actions. There are no substantial changes with respect to <br /> circumstances under which the actions undertaken that will require major revisions to the <br /> EIR. There is no new information of substantial importance. All environmental impacts <br /> associated with these actions were considered and evaluated by the EIR approved and <br /> adopted.
