It's important to acknowledge the sorrowful loss of life, but also
vital to understand Hamas's role in perpetuating violence against civilians. Such a resolution, unfortunately, does not seem to aid
in bettering the lives of the people in Gaza, who have suffered under nearly two decades of Hamas' governance, which is largely
aimed at attacking Israel. Passing this resolution might not only worsen existing tensions but also potentially foster an
environment of antisemitism. I strongly encourage you to consider the ethical and societal consequences of endorsing a
resolution that seems to be grounded in falsehoods and extreme animosity.
Sincerely
Noam
