City Council members of Santa Ana - it has just come to my attention that the city council will be voting on whether to adopt a policy against Israel that would condemn the state of Israel for the ethnic cleansing of Palestinian people. This is the most ridiculous, and in my opinion, evil thing that a city council could do. You are in effect supporting a terrorist regime that is opposed to democracy, human rights, and supporting the Hamas regime which represents and terrorizes its own people- the Palestinians — Hamas align itself with the worst human rights violator in the world — Russia. In fact, Hamas aligned themselves with Russia recently when they announced they were releasing two Russian Israeli civilians that they held hostage. Upon their release they stated that they were releasing the Russians because Russia has been in support of their terrorism. Hamas documented their own war crimes this year beginning October 7 when they broke a ceasefire in order to butcher, rape, burn, murder and kidnap 1400 women, children, the elderly and babies! Of the 1400 - over 200 were taken hostage and many are being held now and used as human shields along with their own civilian population. You are cowardly and corrupt people on the council if you think that supporting terrorists over Israel (the only democratic country in the Middle East), is the way to help the people of Gaza. You are sending a powerful promotional message to Hamas - these violators of human rights who continue to violate them and to promote policies and activities that will ensure the subjugation of women and the murder of LGBTQAI + people within their borders. It is not too late to reverse course to educate yourselves on the issues at hand, and the history, which sadly has caused the death of many innocent people - and this situation could be reversed if the people of Gaza want to live peacefully within a multicultural pluralistic democratic country - they must stop taking foreign aid and instruction from an international terrorist Association affiliated with the Muslim brotherhood including the country of Iran. I am the mother of a 19-year-old who was killed in an act of hate by a white supremacist - and I am absolutely horrified to see what you were doing. I will not support the campaign of any of the people on your council who seek higher office, and will do everything in my power to make sure that you are all exposed for the evil that you are perpetrating here.
