and children, with the citizens of Israel, who are horrified by the death of Palestinian children that died because their <br />parents voted for a cult of Death to rule over them. Israel cannot be free until Hamas control over Gaza is <br />completely nullified. If Hamas is not willing to release the remaining hostages, there can be no ceasefire. The <br />Palestinian people cannot be free until they are ready to choose life over death. As to this resolution being proposed <br />by the Santa Ana City Council, it will have zero impact on events in the middle east, or for that matter, in <br />Washington DC. My real concern is that by giving Palestinian propaganda a platform from which to launch even <br />more anti-Jewish hatred, this resolution could have a potentially dangerous impact locally — not just for Jews, but for <br />increasing hatred within the community at large. <br />We would love to have open conversation with all the council members for a quick dive into the region history and a <br />general discussion of the situation because we know you can do better than the "draft only" template resolution <br />copy. <br />Thank you for taking the time to read our letter. <br />Iris Goldman <br /> <br />74 <br />
