It also uses inaccurate terms like "ethnic cleansing," "genocide," and "apartheid," which are all too often used <br />to justify bigotry towards the Jewish people. It weaponizes the phrase "Never Again" and references the Holocaust in a way that <br />is insulting to the 6 million Jews and countless others who were systematically murdered by the Nazi regime. <br />Additionally, the Resolution perpetuates an offensive moral equivalency by calling criminals arrested in Israeli prisons "hostages" <br />like the babies, children, families, elderly folks who, if not murdered, were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists and held hostage in <br />Gaza. Ultimately, this Resolution makes a mockery of fighting antisemitism by vowing to "combat antisemitism" while <br />weaponizing language that too often is used to justify and/or promote antisemitism. <br />11 <br />
