This <br />comprehensive analysis highlighted the necessity of a fee adjustment. This need is <br />driven by inflation, an escalation in service levels, and a substantial rise in the cost of <br />street sweeping services, primarily attributed to prevailing wage requirements, resulting <br />in a significant price increase. The proposed fee adjustment delineated below is <br />imperative to ensure the ongoing and necessary delivery of on-demand sanitation <br />services. <br />Proposed Changes <br />1. Increase the monthly Sanitation Fee from $5.35 to $11.72 per unit, effective July <br />1, 2024. <br />2. Establish a 90-day reserve, maintaining approximately 20% of operating and <br />maintenance expenses in alignment with the City reserve policy. <br />3.
