INSURANCE ON FILE WORK MAY PROCEED UNTIL INSURANCE EXPIRES (_-TVZA1 N-2023-287-01 CITY CLERK DATE: DEC 13 20B FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH AMANDA TRAN TO PROVEDE LEGISLATIVE SUPPORT SERVICES FOR COUNCILMEMBER THAI VIET PHAN THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on December 7, 2023, by and between Amanda Tran ("Consultant") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"). RECITALS A. The parties entered into Agreement No. N-2023-287 ("Agreement") dated October 5, 2023, to provide legislative support services for Councilmember Thai Viet Phan. The Agreement term runs until December 31, 2023 and is current and in effect. B. The parties now wish to amend the Agreement to increase the total "not to exceed" amount available under the Agreement and to extend the term of the Agreement. No other changes are contemplated by this First Amendment. The Parties therefore agree: 1. Section 2.a., Compensation, is amended to read as follows: City agrees to pay, and Consultant agrees to accept as total payment for Consultant's services for City, in accordance with the rates and terms defined in this section and further identified in Compensation - Exhibit B, attached hereto and incorporated by reference. The total sum to be expended during the term of this Agreement shall not exceed $20,000.00. 2. Section 3, Term, is amended to read as follows: This Agreement shall commence on October 5, 2023 and terminate on December 10, 2024, unless terminated earlier in accordance with Section 15, below. 3. Except as modified by this First Amendment, all terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. [signatures contained onfollowing page]
