<br />CITY COUNCIL 22 June 06, 2023 <br />Recommended Action: Authorize the City Manager to execute a three-year <br />agreement with Thomson Reuters (West Publishing) to provide online investigative and <br />public records resources subscription services, in an amount not to exceed $145,172, <br />for the period of July 1, 2023 through June 31, 2026, subject to non- substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney (Agreement No. 2023-110). <br /> <br />41. Agreement with Holland & Knight LLP for Federal Legislative Advocacy Services <br />(General Fund) <br />Department(s): City Manager Office <br />Recommended Action: Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with <br />Holland & Knight LLP for federal legislative advocacy services for a three-year term <br />beginning July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2026, with the option of two, one-year <br />extensions in an amount not to exceed $352,800, subject to non-substantive changes <br />approved by the City Manager and City Attorney (Agreement No. 2023-111). <br /> <br />42. Adoption of a Memorandum of Understanding Establishing the Terms and <br />Conditions of Employment for Full-Time Classifications Represented by the <br />Service Employees International Union (“SEIU”) Local 721, effective July 1, 2022 <br />through June 30, 2025 <br />Department(s): Human Resources <br />Recommended Action: Authorize the City Manager to execute a Memorandum of <br />Understanding with SEIU Local 721 Full-Time Employees Unit regarding wages, hours, <br />and other terms and conditions of employment effective July 1, 2022 through June 30, <br />2025, and authorize non-substantive changes which may be necessary to implement <br />the agreement (Agreement No. 2023-112). <br /> <br />MINUTES: Mayor Amezcua thanked all SEIU and SAMA employees for their hard <br />work and dedication. <br /> <br />43. Authorize the City Manager to execute a <br />Memorandum of Understanding with the Santa Ana Management Association <br />(“SAMA”) regarding wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment <br />effective July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2025, and authorize non-substantive changes <br />which may be necessary to implement the agreement (Agreement No. 2023-113). <br />3. Approve resolution updating the salary schedule for associated unrepresented <br />classifications.
