McLoughlin Nominated by the Santa Ana Chamber of <br />Commerce to the Environmental and Transportation Advisory Commission <br />(ETAC) as the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce Representative for a Term <br />Expiring June 8, 2027. <br />Department(s): City Clerk’s Office <br />Recommended Action: Appoint Mark S. McLoughlin to the Environmental and <br />Transportation Commission as the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce representative <br />and administer the Oath of Office. <br />MINUTES: City Clerk Jennifer L. Hall administered the Oath of Office to Mark S. <br />McLoughlin. <br /> <br />9. Receive and File Quarterly Report of Contracts up to $50,000 for Non-Public <br />Works and up to $250,000 for Public Works Authorized by the City Manager as <br />Permitted by Charter Section 421 <br />Department(s): Finance and Management Services <br />Recommended Action: Receive and file Quarterly Report of Contracts entered into <br />between January 1, 2023 to March 31, 2023, valued at up to $50,000 for non-public <br />works contracts and agreements and up to $250,000 for public works contracts and <br />agreements. <br /> <br />10. Approve the Recognition of $84,582.90 of Revenue for Certain Unclaimed <br />Monies from Various City Funds (General Fund) <br />Department(s): Finance and Management Services <br /> <br />Recommended Action: Approve the recognition of $84,582.90 of revenue in the <br />General Fund for certain unclaimed deposits, as allowed by state law. <br /> <br />MINUTES: Councilmember Phan inquired about appropriating the fund ing for the <br />repair of the “Little Saigon” sign. <br /> <br />Councilmember Penaloza inquired about the origin of unclaimed funds related to <br />the Library Department. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Phan moved to approve the recommended action <br />for Item No. 10, seconded by Councilmember Penaloza. <br /> <br />The motion carried, 7-0, by the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />ABSENT: <br />COUNCILMEMBER BACERRA, COUNCILMEMBER <br />HERNANDEZ, COUNCILMEMBER PENALOZA, <br />COUNCILMEMBER PHAN, COUNCILMEMBER VAZQUEZ, <br />MAYOR PRO TEM LOPEZ, MAYOR AMEZCUA <br />NONE <br />NONE <br />NONE <br />Status: 7 – 0 – Pass
