The students will play holiday <br />pieces as an ensemble as well as solo artists in the newly reopened, <br />Santiago Park. We are hoping to attract our neighbors of the 3rd ward <br />neighborhood to walk our beautiful new park and enjoy hot cocoa, their <br />favorite treats and teleport them to an enchanting realm of beautiful <br />ensemble and solo music. <br />Describe the <br />What a wonderful opportunity presenting representation of fine music <br />community benefits <br />though the local community, to the recent reopening of Santiago Park and <br />of this event <br />its remarkable amphitheater! This is an event that families may walk to and <br />enjoy at their neighborhood park. We hope to enrich more families in the <br />community with sophistication through the forms of world and classical <br />music. <br />Amount Requested <br />9518.5 <br />Proposed Use of <br />Funds <br />Instruction Time Costs for the course of eight weeks for seven students in <br />performance ensemble $5600.00 <br />Rehearsal space Costs for recital over the course of eight weeks $800.00 <br />Marketing and advertisement $500.00 <br />Permits $1,100.00 (Park fees and additional amphitheater/amplified music <br />fees) <br />Health Department Fees$ 127 open food permit (hot chocolate, pastries <br />and tamales) <br />Sound and lighting (stage and area lighting) $1241.50 <br />Insurance costs $150 <br />Total Grant Monies Requested $9518.50 <br />
