However, proposing an over 100% <br />increase seems disproportionately high, especially when considering that inflation, a common benchmark for <br />economic adjustments, typically operates at a lower rate. This substantial jump may post an unnecessary <br />financial strain on residents, and I advocate for a more moderate approach to rate adjustments that aligns with <br />economic realities and ensures fair treatment for the community. <br />One specific concern I'd like to highlight is the frequency of street sweeping in our neighborhood. As it stands, <br />street sweeping occurs once a week, which is adequate for maintaining cleanliness. Introducing more frequent <br />street sweeping, as implied by the proposed increase in charges, seems extraneous. <br />I ask you to reconsider the proposed increase and carefully evaluate the necessity of additional sanitation <br />services.
