To: ecc)mr"ne,.i'.L-osanta-ana,or6
City of Santa Ana
Attn: City Clerk
P.O. Box 1988, M30
Santa Ana, CA 92702
Opposition to Annual Sanitation User Charge Increase
Hearing Scheduled February 20, 2024, at Santa Ana City Council Chamber
I/We, 112 Owner(s)/Authorized Agent of the Owner(s)
of the property located at /// Ana, CA ?a
(Street Address) (Zip Code)
also known as parcel number 0/ object the increase
(Parcel Number)
in sanitation user fees that are scheduled to take effect in July 2024 and a[[ subsequent increases
scheduled thereafter. The fee will increase from $5.35 per month to $11.72 per month. This is an
increase of over 110% per month. If there will be an increase, it should be capped at 3% or 80% of
the local consumer price index (CPI), just like the city's Rent Control Ordinance.
Alternatively, the city's Rent Control Ordinance should be amended to allow increases that are
identical to the city's sanitation fee increase.
This proposed increase and the proposed 3.5% increase scheduled to occur every year thereafter,
is outrageous and unfair,,to owners.
—z

Date:
ME
Date:
