INSURANU ON FILE FIRST AMENDMENT TO EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT A-2024-010 <br />WORK MAY PROCEED SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND <br />UNNIL INSURANCE EXPIRES <br />L-(g &4 INTERVAL HOUSE <br />CITY CLERK (24 CFR Parts 91 and 576) <br />DATE: JAN 2 4 ZOZ4 <br />p'.cDR[6) <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT SUBRECIPIENT <br />AGREEMENT is entered into this 16 day of January, 2024, by and between the City of Santa Ana, a <br />charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("CITY"), and Interval House, a <br />California nonprofit organization ("SUBRECIPIENT"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. On July 1, 2023, the City entered into an Emergency Solutions Grant Subrecipient Agreement <br />with Interval House, A-2023-083-02, to provide Emergency Funds from the United States <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to be used in the operation of <br />emergency solutions programs to assist individuals and families that are homeless or at risk of <br />homelessness in obtaining appropriate supportive services in the City of Santa Ana ("said <br />Agreement"). <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties desire to amend to <br />increase funds by $32,393 to the Subrecipient, which need to be spent by June 30, 2024. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br />terms and conditions of said Agreement, except as herein modified, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Section III, shall be amended to increase funding to Subrecipient by $32,393. The new total <br />sum shall be increased from a sum not to exceed $80,000 to an amount not to exceed $112,393 <br />in grant funding. <br />2. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain <br />unchanged and in full force and effect. <br />[signatures on followingpage/ <br />
