Housing Division Quarterly Report <br />February 6, 2024 <br />Page 7 <br />Staff also conducted one (1) workshop for property owners to assist with navigating the <br />Rental Registry: <br />Month <br /># of Registrants <br />October 5, 2023 <br />21 <br />Total <br />21 <br />The City regularly distributes important updates and information to Santa Ana residents. <br />During this quarter, staff informed the public of programmatic updates via social media, <br />newsletters, and email distribution lists, reaching a total of 38,238 Santa Ana residents. <br />Available Funds and Land Assets for Affordable Housing Development Projects <br />The City of Santa Ana and the Housing Authority acting as the Housing Successor <br />Agency manages multiple sources of local, state, and federal funds to develop <br />affordable housing. Exhibit 1 provides a summary of the funds available as of December <br />31, 2023. <br />Affordable Housing Opportunity and Creation Ordinance <br />On -Site Development <br />Since 2011, a total of 33 units have been developed on -site as a result of the Affordable <br />Housing Opportunity and Creation Ordinance, including 23 ownership units for -sale and <br />10 rental units: <br />Units Built On -Site <br />Ownership <br />Rental <br />Total <br />23 <br />10 <br />33 <br />In -Lieu Fees Generated <br />All in -lieu fees, penalties, and other monies collected pursuant to the Ordinance, <br />including interest, are deposited into the Inclusionary Housing Fund.
