YrNI*rqar <br />STEAM Challenge Kits <br />Build -a -Bridge — What type of bridge will you construct? <br />Our bridge challenge introduces students to three different types of bridges (truss, beam, suspension). They will <br />learn about load, forces, compression, and tension and will apply these concepts when building their bridge. <br />Suggested grade levels: middle & upper elementary <br />NGSS: 3-PS2-1 <br />Engineering Design: 3-5-ETS1-1, 3-5-ETS1-3 <br />Upcycled Vehicle — Where will your vehicle travel? <br />Students will use their imagination to design and build an unconventional vehicle. They will need to consider <br />terrain, load, and the tasks that their vehicle will perform when building.
