Approve an appropriation adjustment recognizing $214,364 in prior -year fund <br />balance in the Air Quality Improvement (AB 2766) Fund, Prior Year Carry <br />Forward revenue account and appropriate the same amount into the Fleet <br />Services -Air Quality Improvement expenditure account. (Requires five <br />affirmative votes) <br />2. Authorize a one-time purchase and payment of purchase order to Santa Ana <br />Guaranty Chevrolet Motors, Inc. for eight Chevrolet EV Blazer SUVs, in an <br />amount not -to -exceed $518,304, with a $45,000 contingency. <br />MINUTES: Councilmember Bacerra spoke regarding community outreach and <br />thanked Public Works Director Nabil Saba and staff for their hard work and <br />efforts. <br />Councilmember Hernandez thanked the Public Works Agency for keeping the <br />purchase local. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Phan asked whether all future purchases will be EV and <br />regarding federal funding opportunities for EV purchases. <br />Public Works Director Nabil Saba spoke regarding future purchases, state <br />requirements, and federal funding opportunities. <br />CITY COUNCIL 11 FEBRUARY 20, 2024 <br />
