CLOSED SESSION REPORT — The City Attorney will report on any action(s) from <br />Closed Session. <br />MINUTES: City Attorney Sonia Carvalho stated there was no reportable action. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS — Public comments will be held during the beginning of the <br />meeting for ALL comments on agenda and non -agenda items. <br />MINUTES: The following speakers addressed the City Council in person: <br />1. Dale Helvig spoke in support of Agenda Item No. 31. <br />2. Christine Contreras spoke regarding Eagleman Housing and Native America <br />homelessness in the City. <br />3. Aiya Kanawati spoke regarding the genocide in Palestine and requested a cease- <br />fire resolution. <br />4. Fernando Deveras spoke regarding the genocide in Palestine, an ethics complaint <br />submitted against Mayor Amezcua, and expressed concern regarding Mayor <br />Amezcua's aide contract extension (Agenda Item No. 35). <br />5. Nina Jirik spoke regarding the need for parks and green space in her <br />neighborhood and requested a feasibility study. <br />6. Pat Lenahan requested a feasibility study for a park in the Washington Square <br />Neighborhood and spoke regarding neighborhood events. <br />7. Lupe Lopez spoke regarding the Eagleman Housing Project. <br />The following speakers addressed the City Council via teleconference. <br />8. Vic D Mendez spoke regarding the mid -year budget report (Agenda Item No. 43). <br />9. Tim Johnson spoke regarding housing and requested resident training to assist <br />the homeless (Agenda Item No. 11), spoke regarding the mid -year budget <br />(Agenda Item No. 43), and requested a reordering of the agenda related to public <br />comments. <br />City Clerk Jennifer L.
