Continue <br />to seek state and federal funding for <br />neighborhood rehabilitation projects <br />and collaborate with community-based <br />organizations to identify housing issues <br />and improvements needed, especially <br />for housing within environmental justice <br />area boundaries. <br />CDA Ongoing The City managed an Agreement with <br />Habitat for Humanity of Orange County <br />to implement the City’s Residential <br />Rehabilitation Grant Program. Through <br />this contract, the City provided grants <br />of up to $25,000 to over 20 households <br />for the repair and rehabilitation of <br />single-family and mobile homes, <br />prioritizing applicants in R/ECAP and <br />TCAC census tracts, seniors (62 years <br />and older), disabled residents, and low- <br />income households. <br />Community 2.2 Yes Public realm. Identify areas in need of a <br />public realm plan to provide attractive, <br />comfortable, and safe walking corridors <br />to promote accessibility to community <br />programs or activity centers, in <br />conjunction with the City's Active <br />Transportation Plan. <br />PWA/PBA Ongoing City released a request for proposal <br />(RFP) on February 21, 2023 for the <br />creation of the Focus Area Public Realm <br />Plans. A firm was selected and officially <br />awarded the contract in February 2024. <br />Community 3.2 Yes Pedestrian access to health facilities. <br />Ensure that new or redeveloped health <br />care facilities include pedestrian-friendly <br />site amenities. In areas where mobile <br />clinics are stationed, ensure the location <br />is safe and accessible for pedestrians, <br />cyclists, and transit users. <br />PBA Ongoing PBA continues to require pedestrian <br />amenities be included as part of new <br />development proposals through the <br />development project review process.
