A-46 <br /> <br />ELEMENT REF # EJ IMPLEMENTATION ACTION AGENCY TIME <br />FRAME 2023 UPDATE <br />Land Use 3.25 Yes Engage EJ communities. Work with <br />community serving organizations, <br />neighborhood leaders, and residents to <br />form an Ad Hoc Committee to develop <br />ongoing EJ Community Engagement <br />programs for existing and new <br />disadvantaged EJ communities, including <br />multilingual communication protocols. <br />Host quarterly Roundtable meetings <br />with local stakeholders to guide and <br />evaluate implementation of <br />environmental justice policies. <br />PBA 2022 The City's EJ Office has continued to <br />meet with neighborhood leaders from <br />the Delhi, Madison Park, Logan <br />Neighborhoods to discuss and address <br />EJ issues. The City's EJ Office has rolled <br />out the EJ Action Committee formation <br />and application process to include one <br />resident representative from each of <br />the five (5) EJ Cluster Areas that <br />comprise EJ census tract boundaries <br />throughout the City. Twenty-one (21) <br />applications were received from <br />community members and three (3) <br />applications received from CBOs. Plans <br />are underway to convene the full EJ <br />Action Committee in early 2024.
