A-48 <br /> <br />ELEMENT REF # EJ IMPLEMENTATION ACTION AGENCY TIME <br />FRAME 2023 UPDATE <br />Land Use 3.27 Yes Groundwater practice. Coordinate with <br />the State Department of Toxic <br />Substances Control (DTSC) to monitor <br />the Santa Ana Southeast Groundwater <br />Clean Up Project and identify <br />measurable progress to remediate <br />groundwater contamination. Share <br />information with the community on the <br />City’s Environmental Quality web page. <br />PBA Ongoing The City's EJ Office worked with EJ <br />neighborhoods to hold two South Basin <br />Groundwater Town Hall Meetings were <br />held in 2023 to bring transparency and <br />community access to regulatory <br />agencies involved in monitoring onsite <br />facility cleanups near the Delhi and <br />Madison Park EJ communities. <br />Meetings involved DOJ's EJ Coordinator <br />for Region <br />Land Use 3.28 Yes Tenant protections. Provide information <br />to residential tenants regarding Landlord <br />Tenant Laws in the <br />State, such as AB 1481, and Santa Ana’s <br />Just Cause for Tenant Eviction and Rent <br />Stabilization ordinance that provide <br />protections against evictions for those <br />who seek action to improve substandard <br />housing and hazardous conditions. <br />PBA 2022 & <br />Ongoing <br />The City's EJ Office continued to <br />provide Rent Stabilization and Just <br />Cause Eviction Information to <br />neighborhood association meetings and <br />referred public inquiries to CDA related <br />to rent increase notices.
