Flores, Dora
From:David Kiwerski <wp2aat@gmail.com>
Sent:Sunday, March
To:eComment; Lopez, Jessie
Subject:McDonalds Project - Item # 23
Attention: This email originated from outside of City of Santa Ana. Use caution when opening attachments or links.
To whom it may concern:

This project would be where the two homes ( one is historical ) are located at 2101 and 2109 E. Santa Clara and next
to the easement that is behind Del Taco. This is also where Santa Clara going West from Tustin Ave. turns from 2
lanes down to 1 lane.

This is a Very dangerous proposal considering that Plumfield Preschool and a large condo complex are directly
across the street from this site. * Note * Both In and Out along with Chick Filet have double wide drive through
lanes and I'm sure that most of you have seen the traffic jams trying to get in and out of those restaurants. It is also
common to see private security directing traffic into these restaurants.

Imagine the traffic / safety impact that a 4,000 sq. ft. McDonalds with double drive through lanes will have on a 2
lane street that is directly across the street from a busy Preschool and a large Condominium complex ??? Then add
the the Apartments next door and the single family homes next to that... The high majority of of Santa Clara between
Grand and Tustin Ave. is ONLY 2 lanes wide ( Total ). This project is NOT SAFE for this location

I travel this area every day, and I have seen how traffic is worse every year. The last thing we need is an other point
of congestion.

Sincerely,

David Kiwerski

Santa Ana 92705

--
David Kiwerski "No Microsoft, no Apple, just good old reliable Linux"
1
