POLICYHOLDER NOTICE OF SHORT RATE CANCELLATION PROVISIONS <br />Ifthepolicyiscancelledbytheinsuredbeforetheendofthepolicyterm,exceptifthereasonforcancellationis <br />permanentclosureorsaleofthebusiness,TheHartfordwillapplyashortratecancellationfee.Thismeansthatthefinal <br />premiumwillbemorethanprorata,asitwillbeincreasedbyashortratecancellationfee.Theamountofthefeewillvary <br />dependingonhowearlythepolicyiscancelledorwhetheryourpolicyissubjecttoanannualminimumpremium.The <br />rangeofthefeeis5%to100%ofthefullpremium,andthefinalpremiumwillnotbelessthantheminimumpremium.The <br />methodfordeterminingtheshortratecancellationfeecanvarybystate;contactyouragentorbrokerifmoreinformation <br />is required.
