My advocacy for the continuation of this event and the preservation of this community's traditions is commendable. It's important for cultural events like Juneteenth to be upheld and celebrated, providing a space for communities to come together, honor their heritage, and educate others about their history. My voice as a taxpayer and member of the community is valuable, and it's essential that my concerns about dignity, respect, and cultural preservation are heard and addressed. By supporting OCHC events like the Juneteenth Celebration, I am not only honoring the past but also shaping a more inclusive and vibrant future for the community.
