<br /> Annual Action Plan <br />2024 <br />45 <br />OMB Control No: 2506-0117 (exp. 09/30/2021) <br />1 Goal Name Affordable Housing Development & Maintenance <br />Goal <br />Description <br />Provide funding for the acquisition, construction, rehabilitation and provision of affordable rental and ownership housing. <br />2 Goal Name Code Enforcement <br />Goal <br />Description <br />Support code enforcement activities to ensure residential properties are safe and suitable for habitation <br />3 Goal Name Public Service Programs <br />Goal <br />Description <br />Working with local and regional nonprofits and service providers, Santa Ana will provide funding to ensure the provision of <br />critical services and activities to low- and moderate-income residents and special needs populations throughout the City. <br />4 Goal Name Homeless Services and Facilities <br />Goal <br />Description <br />Working together with local and regional stakeholders, Santa Ana will continue to promote the implementation of a <br />cohesive and coordinated homeless system. In doing so, Santa Ana will invest in projects that ensure that homeless <br />households from all sub-populations are supported to return to permanent housing as quickly as possible; receive <br />strength-based services that emphasize recovery, as needed; receive only what they need to be returned to housing <br />quickly and to be as self-reliant as possible; and are assisted in preventing homeless from occurring in the first place. <br />5 Goal Name Public Facilities & Infrastructure <br />Goal <br />Description <br />In collaboration with other city agencies, rehabilitate public facilities and streets to increase ADA accessibility, improve <br />facilities and infrastructure to better meet the needs of residents, and implement measures to mitigate and reduce <br />vandalism and graffiti in the City. <br />6 Goal Name Program Administration & Fair Housing Services <br />Goal <br />Description <br />Ensure the management of a compliant and efficient HUD programs and provide funding to promote the implementation <br />of fair housing services and activities throughout the City. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT 1
