A-1993-080 <br />9 ELi ]/219] <br />1 FIRST AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING «l((( Oil <br />3 BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF ORANGE AND THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA REGARDING POLICE PATROL SERVICES IN <br />s CIVIC CENTER. <br />6 This Amendment to Memorandum of Understanding, dated for <br />] identification this I st day of Ju7Y 1993, is <br />a entered into between the COUNTY OF ORANGE, a political subdivision <br />9 of the State of California (hereinafter, "COUNTY"), and the CITY OF <br />a SANTA ANA, a municipal corporation organized under the laws of the <br />State of California (hereinafter, "CITY"). <br />12 WHEREAS, COUNTY and CITY have heretofore entered into a <br />13 Memorandum of Understanding, dated October 15, 1992, which provides <br />14 for police patrol services in the Civic Center area in Santa Ana, <br />15 California; and <br />IG- WHEREAS, COUNTY and CITY now wash to amend said Memorandum of <br />Understanding as hereinafter set forth; <br />]a NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED BY AND BETWEEN THE <br />i9 PARTIES that the Memorandum of Understanding dated October 15, <br />20 1992, is hereby amended as follows: <br />21 1. The area to be patrolled by Santa Ana police officers <br />22 pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding is hereby increased to <br />23 include ( in addition to the Civic Center area) the area bordered by <br />24 Santa Ana Boulevard on the north, Third Street on the south, Flower <br />25 Street on the east, and the alley immediately West of the parking <br />26 structure on the west. <br />k] 2.
