Use caution when opening attachments or links. <br /> <br />I have lived at in Washington Square (part of Ward 5) for over 47 years. I have raised a <br />daughter here. For all that time, there has been a large, vacant parcel of land at the northern end of Olive and <br />Lowell Streets that would be a perfect location for a neighborhood park. <br /> <br />The schoolyard at Wilson School is unavailable during non-school hours and there has never in all those years <br />been another recreational open space within safe walking distance for Washington Square children and adults. <br />This vacant land would be a natural for grassy areas, landscaped walking paths, park benches, picnic tables and <br />play equipment. <br /> <br />I urge you to support the passage of a feasibility study for a park in Washington Square. <br /> <br />Thank you for your consideration, <br /> <br />Sylvia M.
